Who are the MGAA
The Managing General Agents Association (MGAA) and DOA have been partners for many years. Our managing director, David Oliver, was an original founding member of the MGAA when the non-profit group was first founded in 2011.
As found on the MGAA website, they are looking to drive innovation and high standards within the insurance sector; creating a body that enhances the sustainability, effectivity and authority of its members.
A new look for DOA
After DOA’s successful rebrand and launching of its new website last December, the MGAA “Meet the MGA Market” event provided the perfect platform for DOA to present its “new look” to the insurance industry.
The updated DOA branding was in full effect with new banners showcasing our styling, messaging and specialities. Along with that, the balloons were a great addition to demonstrate the 3 new brand colours that DOA will be known for.
It was also the perfect opportunity to reveal DOA’s new sustainability mission. Coming away from paper and instead opting to use reusable business cards and a digital presentation to exhibit our message, rather than the traditional business card and flyers.
Creating exciting new relationships
In-person events are always a great place to build and create exciting new relationships with broker and insurer partners. The MGAA “Meet the MGA Market” event was no different with many new and existing brokers coming over to the DOA stand to talk about new potential business opportunities.
The stand had many compliments throughout the day on the innovation of our business cards and QR code stands. Lots of delicious DOA-branded chocolates were handed out and one lucky winner received a £100 Amazon gift card for entering our prize draw competition!
